Zebras

Leopards

Did you know?

  1. Adult leopards are solitary animals.
  2. Leopards are astoundingly strong. They are pound for pound the strongest of the big cats.
  3. Leopards are amazingly agile. They run up to 36 mph, and can leap 20 feet horizontally and 10 feet vertically. 
  4. Leopards aren’t picky eaters, but they are carnivores.
  5. Leopards communicate with each other through distinctive calls: hoarse, raspy coughs when there is another around; growl when angry; purr when happy.

Wild Dogs

Did you know?

1. The scientific name for the African Wild Dog means Painted Wolf.
2. A typical litter will have around 10 puppies but can have as few as 2 and as many as 20.
3. Each animal has its own unique coat pattern with colors of red, black, brown, white, and yellow fur.
4. These canines have only four toes per foot, unlike other dogs, which have five toes on their forefeet.
5. Packs are very social, they will share food, help the sick, and communicate by touch, actions, and vocalizations.
