Forest Friends Spring Tea Towels

New for spring, three exclusive tea towels called "Forest Friends" for Terrain. 

These vintage-inspired designs feature a sweet deer, fox and mouse surrounded by beautiful botanicals.

Terrain approached me asking for a different painting style. I was all about it! I appreciate being pushed out of my comfort zone. I find it a fun challenge trying fresh ways to paint, while keeping true to my natural, colorful vibe.

Here's a behind the scene look into the sketch phase. I always start with a rough drawing that gets passed off to the buyer to approve or give further feedback. For the middle design below we started with a hedgehog but as you can see it transformed into a sweet mouse instead. 

It's a wonderful collaborative process.
