Printable Thanksgiving Place Cards / Table Decor
It’s time to give thanks, and I wanted to give you guys a little something to pretty up your holiday table and let you know how thankful I am for THE BEST customers, followers, collaborators and friends.Last year you all loved these free, printable Thanksgiving place cards, so I’ve freshened up the design for 2019 and I have got ya covered for all of your hosting needs! Even if you’re not the one hosting this year, this can be a free and creative way for you to offer help to whoever is.
You can use them as name cards for a more formal seated dinner, as inspiration cards, extra decor for the table, or even as food label display cards if you’re having a buffet station. Lots of possibilities!
Here’s how I used mine last year: I spend Thanksgiving in Florida with family and we’ve been doing a huge 35 person (and ever growing) dinner. We don’t typically do assigned seating, so I didn’t fill in a name. I just left the blank space after “I am thankful for…” and placed one at each seat. Eventually, they inspired everyone (ok, with a little extra nudging by me – I’m not scared off by an eye roll, haha) to share what they were thankful for at dinner. And this is a group of people that doesn’t really do that sort of thing too often. In the end, it really meant so much to everyone and they still talk about what a special, personal touch point that conversation was during the meal.
I loved hearing all of your stories and experiences about what these place cards brought to your Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving table, too. Please keep them coming this year! Email me at lana@lanasshop.com.
