Teacher Appreciation Week Free Card
I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but my dad was a teacher for 30 years! And when I think of all the things he’s taught me in my life, my heart just overflows thinking of the impact he had on his hundreds of students.
Here’s one of my favorite “teacher” stories about him:
One day after he retired, he was going through the TSA checkpoint at the airport and a worker in her thirties recognized him—decades after she’d been in his class! But that’s not all. Then she stood in the middle of the security area and began to sing the “How to know the continents” song my dad had made up for their 6th grade class all those years ago!
Cue the tears.
Teachers are such heroes, but this season they deserve our appreciation more than ever before.
So, why not make their day? Drop off a cute card and let your child’s teacher know just how much they are loved.
Need ideas?
Here’s a sweet and simple note you can steal. (And don’t worry; I won’t tell!) thinking of the impact he had on his hundreds of students.
And here’s a card you can print, color, fold, and gift.
